Design System for Meta Ads’ Lift

Shipped Designs working in production code thanks to my Eng partners.
Context:
Lift is a Meta Ads product used by Meta’s largest advertisers to A/B test ad strategies.
The Problem:
Lift quickly ballooned into many Meta Ads products with no consistent design system, causing confusion and churn.
Based on Lift setup, 10 different interfaces could be shown during Results
The Solution:
A scalable, adaptable, well-documented design system with a mix of custom components and components inherited from the larger Meta Ads design system
The Lift Results Design System, a living document with code-ready components.
My Role:
Sole product designer working in a raditional XFN team.Project cover for my Proton prototype
Impact:
90% of Lift Results components were Design System-compliant before the Meta Ads-wide org target date
Significant UX Quality metrics improvements, net neutral effect on time spent in the short-term.
16 UX inconsistencies and improvements I suggested after my initial audit. 13/16 improvements shipped within the first milestone of this project.
